My Peace I Leave

Ensue peace. Follow peace. Why is peace so important in the life of a believer? Because the enemy is always trying to cause us to worry and fret about problems we may encounter. Psalm 37:1-2 states. "Fret not thyself..." Fret means to be peevish, unhappy, discontented, worried, or disturbed.

Fear is such a danger in our walk because it causes delays and is a lack of faith. Though fear our circumstances and situations begin to dictate to us how we should feel, walk, live, and think. Confusion moves in quickly. 1 John 4:18 tells us that God loves us with a perfect or complete love. That great love He has for us should cast out "all" not some, but "all" of our fears. Psalm 46:1-2 states that, "God is our refuge and strength a very present help in trouble." He is an abundantly available help. :For He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may have boldness." Hebrews 13:5-6

We need to understand that we are serving a God that cannot lie. Hebrews 6:18-19 Let us cary ourselves in the thought of what a mighty God we serve. Let your faith work by love. Galatians 5:6 Let this be your driving force as you cast all your care on Him. 1 Peter 5:7 Psalm 121:1-8 teaches us to walk in peace by looking to the hills of heaven. That's where your help is. Jesus said my peace I leave with you. John 14:27
