Elder Rockne K. Dilosa, Pastor

Rockne Dilosa received Christ as his Lord and Savior, in August of 1974. He married his lovely wife, Melvina in February of 1975. He was the drummer and percussionist in the choir and also tried to sing a little. God elevated him to a deacon by appointment of Elder Rufus J. Nelson, in 1976. He worked as a Sunday School Assistant Superintendent and years later was promoted to Superintendent. In that same year, he was called by God to be a Minister of the Gospel.

He was ordained as an Elder in 1980, by Bishop W.O. Blakely. In 1984, he became Assistant Pastor of Bibleway Church. In 1989, he became Pastor after the demise of a great leader, Elder Rufus J. Nelson. Since that time, he has been Pastor of one of the greatest congregations in the world.

He has served as a Chaplain for St. Mary’s Medical Center, the Visiting Nurses Association and is a board member for One Church One School, past President of the D.A.D. organization, Cofounder and President of Building A Life CDC, and a Bible Study Teacher at Westville Correction Center.

Pastor Dilosa has worked on various programs in our city: Jesus Rally, Brother’s Keeper, Lake County Juvenile Detention Center, Tent Revival, Street Ministry, Second Chance Program and numerous community affiliation.
