The Groundbreaker   was born in January 1999. It was the inspired brainchild of Claude Kelly III. Desiring to "raise the level of praise" of the Bibleway Church choir, Claude was led, by the Holy Spirit, to publish an exclusive newsletter for the singers.

The Groundbreaker   would be another venue Mr. Kelly would use to reinforce to the Bibleway Choir that they were not "just making melody" but, had been appointed by God for special duty in his kingdom. The choir had to know and understand their biblical roots as 'Levites" and to "lay hold'' on their commission.

Pastor Rockne Dilosa was instrumental in naming Claude's vision. In many of his sermons, Pastor Dilosa stated that the choir was not just singing, but were present to "break up the fallow ground" in hearts of the congregation. He went on to say that hearts needed preparation for the preached word of God and that was the job of the choir.

Thus, The Groundbreaker   was named.

The Groundbreaker  has proven effective! It is published monthly, eagerly awaited by the "Bibleway Levites" and is featured on the Bibleway Church website.
