Challenging Our Giants

The devil, who is the enemy of our souls, has many strategies designed for our destruction; but as believers we must not be ignorant of his devises.
(2 Corinthians 2:11)

Each day we are confronted by tests and trials in which we must make a decision whether to fight or retreat. Acknowledging that a giant dwells in our land can be determined by the length of time we have been challenged with the same issues.

We must be willing to fight to overcome our flesh so that we may gain the victory through the Spirit. We must make a decision by weighing the options of walking in liberty or being held captive.

Bondage will allow Satan to bring in more spirits to inhabit our land.

Strongholds...

  • will haunt us at will
  • intimidate our faith
  • bring fear with torment
  • taunt us and steal our joy
  • destroy our peace
  • shut down our praise
  • tell us that we will never recover
  • convince us that our present state will never change
  • frighten us about losing our identity
  • allow us to hold on to past hurts
  • fool us into hearing distorted words
  • pressure us to give attention to Satan's lies
  • warn us to protect ourselves

We must seek God the more, pray for Him to give us divine strategy against the wiles of the enemy, and believe God for our victory in disarming the enemy. (Ephesians 6:11)

For he whom the Son sets free is free indeed (John 8:36)
